Amy Larson Hunter is a fine artist whose work combines simplicity with emotional depth. Originally from the state of Wyoming, Amy has had the opportunity to live in multiple places throughout the United States. A relocation to Saudi Arabia in 2020, was a move that profoundly influenced her artistic journey. Amid the challenges of adapting to a new culture and navigating life as a mother of two young children during a global pandemic, she began her MFA in Fine Art, Painting, at the Academy of Art University.

Amy’s derives inspiration from the juxtaposition of everyday objects and their deeper meanings. Her paintings often feature ordinary subjects, such as apples or handmade paper flowers, transforming them into evocative symbols of serenity and introspection. Her work invites viewers to pause and find beauty and meaning in the mundane moments of everyday life. Her interest in exploring contrast—whether between simplicity and complexity or strength and vulnerability — allows her to create work that conveys a sense of permanence and depth. Amy continuously finds solace. joy and inspiration in art as a means of reprieve from the overwhelming amounts of information and uncertainty in modern life.
